6 Grooming Products I’m Loving Right Now

As we move into a new chapter with the exciting relaunch of Mr Thirty-Something! it’s time to bring back a few of the things that built up this blog to what it is today and reclaim my crown as one of the top grooming bloggers in the UK. Therefore, I will be reintroducing my ‘new grooming products’ round-ups – Sharing my top six latest finds across beauty and grooming launches. Here’s the first one of 2019…

1. Heath London Moisturiser, £15 https://heathlondon.co.uk/product/moisturiser/

This relatively new men’s grooming brand is making its mark on the grooming industry offering quality British-made grooming essentials, at fair prices. Costing just £15 for an all seasons 100ml moisturiser, the creamy yet lightweight formula glides and blends onto the face leaving a protective and rehydrating layer to face the day. It contains Hyaluronic acid known to replicate natural skin cells to maintain skin hydration, plump and diminish fine lines.

2. House 99 By David Beckham Eye Balm, £19 https://www.house99.co.uk

Last year I attended the House 99 by David Beckham launch party at Harvey Nichols and I was keen to check out the products. One of the products which I’ve been using for a while now is the Eye Balm. After spending what feels like an eternity to find an undereye product to diminish my dark undereye circles I think I may have found the answer! The balm is enriched with Spirulina and Quinoa extracts to lighten and brighten the under eye area – One to pack in your hand luggage and pop on before landing so you’re airport fresh!

3. Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Face Mask,  £39.99 https://www.sandandsky.com/

I am a HUGE facemask fan and often frequent in the activity of ‘masking’, so am also looking for new face mask brands I haven’t discovered before that are not called Glamglow! (borderline obsessed). Besides of course the packaging porn with Sand & Sky, enriched with Australian botanicals and made in Melbourne, this clay mask detoxes, tightens pores and invigorates skin for an instantly boosted radiance, almost like you’ve spent a day in the Australian sunshine.

4. Regal Gentleman Matte Clay, £16 https://regalgentleman.com/products/regal-gentleman-matte-clay

Hats off to the product development team over at Regal Gentleman! I picked up a sample of their new Matte Clay at the Gentleman’s Grooming Show and I’ve been using it ever since. Offering a matte finish and medium hold, what I like about this product is that you actually only need a minimal amount to smooth down a parting and texture hair and unlike some products I’ve used in the past, the clay holds all day and reduces frizz, which let’s face it in January weather is an absolute godsend!

5.  Brisk Tea Tee and Cedar Wood Beard Shampoo, £4.99 https://www.boots.com/brisk-tea-tree-and-cedar-wood-shampoo-for-grizzly-beards-10195878

Before I had a beard, I never cared for specialised beard products, however, after receiving a bit of feedback from a few lucky partkissipants, it transpired that my beard was pretty corse! Using hair shampoo and conditioner on my beard was leaving my skin quite tight and dry, so I gave Brisk Beard Shampoo ago after kindly being gifted a few products from the range by the PR team.  Aside from smelling great, the shampoo lathers up in the shower and settles the hairs leaving them soft and manageable. It also doesn’t strip the oils or irritate your skin as is completely paraben and sulphate free.

6. Redken Brews After Shave Balm, £11.73 https://www.mankind.co.uk/redken-brews-aftershave-balm/11899933

Redken launched its Brews After Shave Balm towards the end of last year and for someone like me who has sensitive neck hair, which grows in a few different directions (hence always getting nicked) it’s the launch I was waiting for. Infused with Aloe Vera its lightweight, fast-absorbing formula quickly and efficiently heals any redness caused by razors, while calming and adding essential oils back into the skin.

*Please note EVERY product within this blog post was sent by either the brand direct or the PR agency who represent them. They were sent with intent of review and photographic purposes.
