With it being my first LCM, there were so many highlights to report back on. However, one that really grabbed my attention was Superdry, who picked LCM as the perfect occasion to launch their new SS17 #SuperdrySport Collection.
Hosted at the stylish high street brand’s flagship Regent Street store, Superdry’s LCM presentation was attended by guests including David Gandy, Vlogger Jack Maynard and Oliver Proudlock. Guests were treated to a sit-down banquet and cocktails, put on by Balthazar, while models paraded the store in hero items from the SS17 Superdry Sport Collection.
The collection is an evolution of Superdry’s aspirational design story, offering essential items for everyday fitness as well as capsule collections for Athleisure, Yoga, Gym, Running and Cycle. The collection allows wearers to have a fresh, stylish look but still ensures professional performance that Superdry Sport is known for.
For men, bursts of cobalt blue, lime green and signature orange on solid black, charcoal, white, and navy compliment signature branded detail and gloss-print graphics on running shorts, lightweight bombers, moisture-wicking vests and zip-tech gym hoodies. Quality is, as ever, central to every piece within the versatile collection.
Hero prints for women include monographic and fluoro pink/blue firework bursts on leggings, sports bras, kit bags and trainers. Teamed with super-soft cool grey and jet-black hoodies, slouchy tees and core vests with reflective stitch detail and branded zip pockets.
